Caution on Draining Pool

Above ground pools should never be completely drained unless the liner is being changed or when extreme circumstances require it and then only if the liner is being immediately refilled within an hour or so. When a liner is
emptied of water, it starts to shrink and will not stretch back into place again like it did on installation. This will
cause it to tear, pull off of the wall, or pull down the wall. Liners should never be drained below a foot of water. The
amount of backfill up against the pool wall should also be considered when contemplating draining a pool. The
water should never be lower than the backfill level. It is never recommended to drain a pool to clear a green pool.

Family Leisure is not responsible for damage done to a liner or pool structure due to draining a pool
